In my opinion
Great America
Rough Draft
I would like to write about something and I hope it doesn't offend too many people, but luckily for me, this website is obscured so I would like to write something to my alter-ego (and you who accidentally fell into a rabbit hole to bother reading this).
Yesterday, an acquaintance had called from a distant State to inform me of his recent purchase of a solar charge controller (and blah blah blah).
But the crux of the conversation evolved to how he obtained "his" government "stimulus" check, and how he was going to wait in Idaho for the second check before progressing to Florida where his old job was waiting for him.
Somehow the infrequent caller did not pick up on the fact that I did not approve of his taking anything from our Government (for any reason).
Firstly, I was repulsed that someone that is a non-filer and an able-bodied male could be so much of a taker, and even more appalled at how he was insistent that I too, obtain a "stimulus" check (despite my reasons for expressing why we ought not to do this taking).
There are a few things that repulse me at both ends of the taker-field, regardless of whether it is from the upper-class or lower-class citizenry.
For instance, I don't believe that homeless people should convince themselves to be proud about their homelessness (and hope that I too am not sounding too proud in this particular writ). I find it disgusting that those that have so little value should find the words to belch about how much money they obtain through taking unemployment or social security or welfare, and would find it less disillusioned of them to not hold their heads so high when their value to our world is so low.
The government doesn't owe us anything. They are there for one good purpose, protect the solvency of our Nation (and all the rest of what they do is superfluous).
If a woman cannot feed herself or cannot find a man to adopt her, then let her die. If a man cannot feed himself or cannot find another to adopt him, then let him perish. If neither has a penny's worth of value to trade off in a sea of billions of people, then let not that be what drags the rest of us down with them. Not all poor are good, not all cripples are good, but for those that are good and work through their infirmities, showing still value to the Churches and the Community in which they reside, that person will not perish.
Everyone goes through hard times, get over it.
Rewarding a woman with more of the Nation's wealth simply because she spreads her legs is repulsive. Rewarding a man that could find no good that he can offer to the world before he dies, is disgusting.
The adage that we all have something to offer the world is only true when we actually do something that is good for the world. Now pull yourself together and starve through finding something in you that can create something great. Are you so weak as to let your stomach dictate what you do? Is your God so lame that he could not feed you if it were in his plan? And if it were not in his plan, are you so weak that you would not accept a moment of pain for the gift of only a moment of life?
Rape, murder, taking, stealing, profiteering, racketeering, theft, maiming, are not good words, and those that know nothing more ought to be left to their own devices (and demise) unless there's a shred of decency in them to have some worth to the community.
Contrast Giving, caring, loving, creating, inventing, supporting, edifying. These are not bad words, and those that know nothing more ought to be lifted up in our society because they have some worth to the Nation and World as a whole.
But the aforementioned is just my opinion and everyone ought to be lucky that my thumb is not on the button of judgment (don't presume that I would not press the button against myself either).
So this caller from a distant state was not hearing my words of how at this late juncture of my life I would rather be seeking to find something to give rather than take, just in case there really is a God.
It was as if the call had two people talking on opposite sides of a wall and neither was wanting to hear what the other was saying.
In fact the call probably contained more than a half-dozen statements of what I should do to get the stimulus payment, how I should get the stimulus payment from the government by simply going to blah-blah website and clicking blah-blah to expedite that payment.
The conversation repulsed me, mostly because I know how indebted our Nation is right now, and the most this young man could conjure up to help the nation was to pluck from her corpse. Now I know if the day should come when he might read this that I will no longer receive calls from him, but of what great loss would that be to me? I might come up with the cure to cancer having recouped those minutes wasted on the phone (with a taker that offers nothing in return).
Had he not been so adamant of converting me into becoming a taker too, I probably would not be using the word "repulsive" to describe him.
But the fact is, I was repulsed. I was repulsed that those on welfare should be getting anything more than what they already take from the Nation's basket. I was repulsed at my own inept attempt to nicely tell him to stand on his own two feet and be a giver and less of a taker; a contributer and less of a cloud that gives no rain.
In my (now 56 years) of life, there is one time that I received something for nothing from our government (that I know of), and that is when my then-girlfriend had convinced me to go for the F.E.M.A. aid following a storm that took out part of the roof and ceiling, flooded most every room with filthy moldy water, and basically disrupted the normal routine of life. In fact, I'm relatively certain that probably the only handwriting that was mine on that F.E.M.A Aid form, was probably the signature.
The reason I signed that form was two-fold. The first reason was that I surely was in a time of need, but this was no big deal to me as I'm slightly retarded so there's always something to be needy about (I think). But mainly, probably the main reason I signed that form was to shut her up about it and prove to her it is a waste of time to do so. I was sure that it was a gimmick and surely not going to materialize before the endeavor was thrown another hurdle or another ploy to sign-up for something.
Now I'm not going to lie, I was blown away when that check arrived in the mail. My God knows I'm not lying when I state that I cried that evening and regretted signing that form.
We Americans should be better than this. I really believe that if there were a great culling of the masses, a complete annihilation of those that oppress us and those that hold us down, of the upper-class profiteers and of the lower-class dead-weight, that our Nation would again begin to invent and create and again be the great givers of the world of all that is good and pure.
The bible speaks about such a great nation in Revelations. The bible also speaks how that Nation became the home of every foul bird and how the sheep's head of the government became the dragon's head.
I feel so sorry for us having lost our way.
But it needs to be heartfelt that I not forget to show the giving nature of our Government by including the following document for proof. I am sad that I too was one of those that is a dead-weight to her.
