Give a kid a break, give him or her a place in which to express themselves, to draw other townships and their citizens to come and see what a model town can do when it departs from the monopoly stores and stringent social control whenever the lower-classes should try to excel!

Unique, peculiar, wild marketplace, that only a kid (not yet stifled), can create.

Real-life example:

When I was younger and hired unskilled employees to aid in accomplishing some sizable projects, it was the "throw-aways" that performed best.

I was not always an easy person to work for, and would often-times out-step boundaries to push the employees to be productive (because I basically could not afford to pay another person to produce less than a person).

Whereas the "good" kids would crumble and quit in response to my correction, it was society's under-class that coped with the challenge and produced surprisingly well.

They took more pride in the fact that they were actually becoming quite good in their tasks. Their self-esteem and sense of self-worth exploded to become as true team-members with a common goal taking pride in their production.

It wasn't long before I could release the tethers knowing that the newly inducted employee was capable and taking pride in their work, which allowed me to do better in the areas I needed to focus on.

Kids in general accept reprimand when they do poorly, as well as taking to heart the compliment when doing exceptionally well. By allowing a kid to try something that just might work, is a responsibility that might replace the present stringent economic and social control in the down-ward trend for Springfield.

New incentive; where the young adults can express themselves by creating new niches and markets, in an effort to turn the trending direction of value here in Springfield, around.

The vacant buildings would suddenly become un-vacant. By going in a wild new direction that may at first-glance seem bizarre, just might be the one direction that saves our tiny Springfield.

One kid might make his or her own clothes, and try his or her hand at business (free of all the profiteering legislation and stipulations which are heaped against anyone else that might otherwise go that route).

The fact is.

Void of jobs, or worse, slave-wage earning jobs that degrade and demean the worker's self-worth and creativity, ensures your house is broken into this year.

Void of self-worth and community-pride, your property is stolen, your family member is physically harmed and robbed.

Surely we can pave the direction for the children whom are the next generation?
