I used to win once in a blue moon when I used my credit card. I vowed to quit paying (to lose) about a month ago. Now I use only free chips to play poker on the wpt site. Winning now is a magic trick. Just moments before interjecting this paragraph here, I found myself with two pair (kings and aces). There were only two other players. The other loser (other than myself and my two pair of high cards) had three duces (holding two 2's), whereas the winner was holding two aces (winning with 3 aces).

But before I sound like a griping machine, let me tell you how to play wpt for free!

Look for the spinner located in the lobby. Spin it for some random dough dough every two hours (it's the roulette-wheel located in the upper-left of the lobby).

Well aside from the money you get by choosing one of the three magic boxes (comes to you every 24 hours as best as I can tell), and the roulette wheel money, there's also the "missions" that pop-out from the right side of the screen while in game-play. Disrupt your losing streak and accomplish those missions and you'll get paid.

But another incentive to keep your arse in the chair is also located on the right (while in game-play), you'll see it usually at the bottom and it tells you that if you win 10 hands at any ring table, they will give you some dough.

Now let's see...there was one other secret way to get money. I think it's one of those tabs at the top of the lobby room.

DON'T FORGET TO "CLAIM" YOUR PRIZES WHEN YOU WIN THEM!

One last thing, there IS a way to have webcam games with your real friends! You can choose to be the host (and simply give a code to your friends so they can sign into the table, or have someone else host the game and you join once they give you the code). It's free for a "limited time" but since I don't have any friends, I didn't verify it working or not.

There's also one more way to get money (just discovered it moments ago). I can't tell you how, but it involved one of the tabs and a sign-up area. There was a long list that stemmed for days in the future. I chose one ... ahh there it is, it's called "Tournaments" and I don't know who's giving up the money but the next thing I knew I was in a room at a table with thousands of dollars (even though I was broke). So now that I lost all those thousands in minutes, I guess I'll go push the envelope again. woo woo.

Ahah! I'm back in the saddle again!

Well, I'm off to the San Francisco room now (yeah, that's how I roll these days).

Okay that went extremely too quick. Wow, I can't believe it disappeared that quick. Before I forget (actually I just found it so ...), there is a "prize pool" (also located in the Tournament section). So even if you don't have any money left, click on "register" to enter into the pool. If you aren't the winner, no problem, click it again (get obnoxious, click it repeatedly until you win, that's what I'm doing). However if the room starts you will be s.o.l. and need to wait for the next free roll tournament (yup, just found that factoid out just now too). In the same time it took me to type that last sentence, I'm s.o.l. for the "red eye rebuy" too!

Hmmm....I guess maybe I should go to sleep... a loser again.
