In my defense, after all the custom cuts and installation with salmon-colored mortar, this would have been a really nice walkway in my opinion.

Envision marble mosaic inlay running down the center.
Long pause.
This can go any number of ways;
I could run the center with marble to take a gradual (or sharp 90degree) turn into the other marble shown at the base of the light stand, and have the apron to the walkway be comprised of pavers.
Or I could have the marble meet the driveway in the fashion of a white apron.
Another option would be to picture-frame the mosaic by ending the marble at any point (or multiple points) for a racetrack effect.
